EkkoSense has introduced powerful Estate Page functionality as part of its next generation EkkoSoft Critical SaaS software. Building on proven real-time data centre M&E Capacity Planning and Cooling Optimisation capabilities, Estate Page helps DC teams to manage their entire data centre estate and compare site-by-site efficiencies thanks to comprehensive new site-level and room-level configurations.

A UK and Ireland provider of broadband, TV, mobile and home phone services utilised the EkkoSoft Critical software-driven thermal optimisation solution and fully autonomous cooling to help deliver significant and quantifiable energy savings across its data centre estate.

I’m not sure whether branded polo shirts qualify as Riviera Style, but it was certainly more work than play as EkkoSense attended this year’s Datacloud Global Congress & Awards in Monaco last week.

Next week EkkoSense will be at the DataCloud Global conference in Monaco. It’s our first time at the event, and we’re excited to see how DataCloud’s C-level attendees will respond to key innovations such as Cooling Advisor, our new intelligent solution that’s built right into the heart of our EkkoSoft Critical software.

Mark brings over 25 years’ senior global data centre operations and consulting experience, both in senior executive and non-exec roles. He spent the last seven years as Head of Data Centre Technical Consulting with CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, where he was responsible for ensuring that the company’s DCS service offering set the data centre sector’s highest possible benchmarks.

EkkoSense has announced that it has become a supporter of the Infrastructure Masons (iM) Scholarship Fund, set up to help bridge the talent gap in the digital infrastructure sector. The iM Scholorship fund supports educational programs, funds scholarships and seeks to help to define the digital infrastructure job ladder to support the evolving needs of industry sector businesses.

EkkoSense has appointed data centre sector business development leader Adrian Barker as its Key Account Director. Adrian joins EkkoSense from global critical infrastructure solutions firm Vertiv, where as Senior Director for Business Development he was responsible for executing the company’s solutions strategy and driving growth across the entire Vertiv portfolio. Before that he spent seven years with RF Code, building the team that delivered the company’s first $1m+ account in the EMEA region before serving as RF Code’s General Manager for EMEA.

I’m looking forward to attending next week’s Kickstart Europe Conference in Amsterdam. It’s Europe’s largest data centre industry event, and also a great way to meet up with colleagues, clients and potential customers and get a sense of how our market will evolve through 2019 and beyond.
