9th July 2025 — EkkoSense, a global leader in the provision of AI-powered data centre optimisation software, has expanded its APAC and ANZ team with the appointment of Patricia Alvina as Business Development Manager operating out of Singapore.
Patricia joins EkkoSense from Siemens where as a Sales Manager she spearheaded sales of the brand’s sustainability portfolio – including data centre software solutions – across the ASEAN region. Patricia brings some 15 years’ sales, partnership and team leadership experience to EkkoSense, working on sustainability, energy and innovation projects across Singapore, Indonesia and Europe.
Commenting on her appointment, Patricia said: “having already seen EkkoSense’s AI-powered data centre optimisation and simulation software EkkoSoft Critical and EkkoSim in action, it is clear that there’s huge potential across South East Asia. New data centres already face challenging PUE targets, and older ones will quickly come under the same pressure. With its proven ability to optimise data centre cooling and reduce energy costs, it’s clear that EkkoSense can deliver real value to data centre teams – whether you’re an enterprise data centre operator or a major colocation partner.”
“Patricia brings deep regional sustainability expertise to EkkoSense, along with proven insight into how operators can adhere to standards such as Singapore’s Green Mark for Data Centres,” added Robert Linsdell, EkkoSense’s General Manager for APAC and ANZ. “We’re delighted that she is joining the EkkoSense team, and we look forward to her driving EkkoSoft Critical sales across the region.”
The EkkoSoft Critical 3D visualisation and analytics software gives operations teams the data centre capacity, power management and cooling intelligence needed to run data centre enterprise estates including their AI workloads and liquid cooling compute resource efficiently and sustainably. EkkoSoft Critical is an award-winning SaaS data centre management solution that offers a distinctive, light-touch AI-enabled software-driven optimisation approach from the data centre white space to the chiller/heat rejection infrastructure.
Before working for Siemens, Patricia spent two and a half years as the Project Management Lead for ENGIE Lab Singapore. Here she focused on facilitating project teams, building timelines, supporting stakeholders, and conducting risk analysis to ensure the seamless delivery of projects. Progressing innovative sustainability projects in the lab and driving them towards commercialisation was a key part of this process.
Earlier, Patricia worked as a Project Manager for NTU’s Energy Research Institute in Singapore, and also as a Partnership Manager in Sweden for the Nordic-China Startup Forum. She has a Master of Science degree on the Innovation of the Smart City from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from LU Leuven in Belgium.
