Tech Tips: Edge data center monitoring with EkkoSoft Critical

Is your Edge infrastructure running at peak performance?

Given the importance of the increasing volumes of data that are now being processed in edge data center facilities, the ability to monitor and optimize the performance of these edge compute loads is vital. Effective edge monitoring is essential if organizations are to have full visibility across their end-to-end critical infrastructure, and that has to include edge sites such as single server rooms, cabins and containerized pods, and remote server rooms – in addition to their major data centers.

EkkoSoft Critical offers full support for remote edge data center monitoring, with EkkoSense’s simple architecture enabling a cost-effective model for edge optimization. And it really couldn’t be any easier to use – here’s a short one minute video introducing you to edge monitoring within our EkkoSoft Critical software, and showing you how it works:

  • First use the Filter option to view all edge sites
  • Easily access key site metrics
  • Load into each edge data center facility for a detailed view of the current conditions
  • Select any object to view alerts, alarms or other data points
  • Utilize the built-in filters to visualize different data sets – such as cooling utilization
  • Select the Site option from the bottom navigation to load the 3D M&E one-line
  • Select any object to view alerts, alarms or other data points
  • Select the Reports and Charts tool to run different types of reports, including automated ESG Reporting for each edge facility
